Commercial window treatments · Delaware

Commercial window treatments, specified properly.

Short answer

We plan commercial blinds, shades, and motorized systems for Delaware offices, schools, healthcare, hospitality, multifamily, retail, and public buildings—backed by a team with decades of architectural glass and window-film experience, so treatments and glass are reviewed together.

Film + treatments

One review of the glass, not two separate sales.

Film is always active and keeps the opening visually open. Shades are adjustable. Many commercial elevations perform best with both.

StrategyUse whenLimitation
Solar film onlyConstant glare/solar reduction where the view must stay openNo adjustable privacy, no blackout
Solar shades onlyAdjustable glare control with daylightNot night privacy when lit inside
Film + solar shadesHarsh south/west elevations, lobbies, curtain wallsTwo coordinated decisions
Opaque / blackout shadesConference, classroom, patient, guest roomsEdge light needs detailing
Decorative / privacy filmPermanent privacy on glass walls and lower litesNot adjustable
Security filmGlass retention and forced-entry delay—separate categoryDoes not provide privacy or darkness

Reflective film does not guarantee nighttime one-way privacy when interiors are brighter. Blackout is a treatment function, not a film promise. UV reduction helps, but fading has many causes.

Commercial storefront glazing

Broad storefront glass has to stay visible from the street while managing glare and direct sun on the space behind it.

Film can handle constant glare on fixed storefront glass; shades are added only where seating, offices, or after-hours privacy need adjustable control.
